Haeckel Hill
Haeckel Hill's summit is marked by two wind turbines, overlooking the Yukon River Valley. This area offers birding opportunities including rock and willow ptarmigans, trumpeter and tundra swans and gyrfalcons. Access: Turn right at the junction of Fish Lake Road and Copper Haul Road. Follow gravel road to top (not passable in winter). 211

Swan Haven Interpretation Centre
Visitors to the Swan Haven Interpretive Centre will have the opportunity to observe swans, ducks and geese during their spring migrations. Located 30 minutes south on the Alaska Highway, the viewing deck is open year-round and the centre is open to the public during April.
